David Baldwin BSc DipArb, FCICES, FRICS, FCIArb
Managing Director
David can call on over 35 years experience in construction. Prior to joining Glovers in 1988 he worked in contracting on high profile projects in the UK, Nigeria, Egypt and Tanzania. He has acted as Adjudicator and Arbitrator, and has been involved in a variety of claims for extension of time, disruption, loss and expense etc on building, civil, mechanical, electrical and process engineering contracts. David is regularly asked to act as an Expert Witness and high profile appointments include quantum expert on an £88M utilities disputes and quantum expert on a £60M international dispute. David also has experience of acting as Single Joint Expert in a number of County Court claims.

Brian Mason DipSurv, MRICS, AMICES, FaPS
Brian has over 35 years Quantity Surveying experience, joining Glovers in 1993. Brian became a Director of the firm in 1996. In addition to offering pre and post contract Quantity Surveying services, Brian is the Director responsible for CDM coordination. Brian was one of the first Fellows of the Association of Project Safety and carries out the full range of H&S services including health & safety audits, risk assessments, CHAS accreditation and seminars and training. Brian is passionate about improving safety in construction and adopts a hands-on approach to CDM which involves regular site visits and liaison with the contractors. Brian regularly acts as Contract Administrator on public and private sector projects.

Nick White BSc (Hons)
Head of Building Surveying
Nick joined Glovers in 2003 having completed his degree at Salford University in 2002 and heads up the team which carries out building surveys, condition surveys, asbestos surveys, measured surveys, planning / Building Regulation applications and can also advise and act as Party Wall Surveyor. Nick has experience running large scale asset management surveys through Glovers' appointment as consultants for both Carillion Facilities Management and Interserve for management of the HSBC portfolio. Nick also has site based experience for new build and refurbishment work. In addition, Nick is able to provide Expert Witness reports for court proceedings and has recently acted as expert on a number of boundary disputes and several defective works claims.

Lee O'Neill BSc (Hons)
Senior Quantity Surveyor
Lee has worked in the construction industry for over 15 years in a range of organisations including consultancies and national organisations. He has extensive expertise in delivering projects from £10K small refurbishments and maintenance programmes to large scale construction and civil engineering projects in excess of £200M value. Lee has experience in most sectors of industry including private residential, affordable housing, commercial, industrial, PPP/PFI, healthcare, waste, rail, infrastructure and ecclesiastical. He can deliver projects from inception to operation. Over his career Lee has delivered projects for various clients under different forms of contracts including JCT, NEC3, IChemE (Red, Yellow & Brown Books), PPC and other bespoke forms.
