Expert Witness (Delay) – Production Facility

Mary Cross was appointed by solicitors working for a client having a £14M new production facility constructed under a JCT DB 2016 contract.  Some extensions of time had been granted by the Employer’s Agent but the Contractor was seeking further extensions to the date of practical completion.  Mary carried out a comprehensive review of the project documentation and prepared a revised Construction Programme  in PowerProject updated to reflect agreed changes to the baseline.  She also prepared detailed sub-programmes for the activities most impacted by delay.  Mary’s opinion on the Contractor’s entitlement was summarised in a full CPR Part 35 Report.
